Jaeger Accepts 2013 SET Award from Entertainment Industries Council

The Jackhammer Elegies won a 2013 SET Award from the Entertainment Industries Council "for accurate and impactful entertainment portraying and promoting the fields of science, engineering, technology and math." View author Stefan Jaeger's acceptance remarks at the November 13, 2013, SET Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, where he talks about the need for additional positive depictions of engineers in popular entertainment.

Other 2013 SET Award winners included the TV shows and movies The Big Bang Theory, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, Iron Man 3, and Star Trek into Darkness, among others.
